A strategy-first, decision-centered program that helps leaders use AI across the full strategic decision cycle - from framing and evidence to alternatives, choice, communication, and implementation - without outsourcing judgment or accountability.
Frame the right problem. Expand the options. Challenge the choice. Move to action.
AI can compress days of research, synthesis, and iteration into hours. It can also magnify a weak problem statement, an incomplete option set, or an untested assumption. The advantage does not come from using AI more. It comes from using it deliberately inside a sound strategy and decision process.
AI-Enabled Strategy combines the broader perspective of the Leading with AI - Strategy experience with a practical, repeatable rational decision-making process. Participants learn to use AI as a researcher, interpreter, thought partner, simulator, and communicator while keeping problem definition, trade-offs, judgment, and accountability with the leader.
Participants apply both sides of the program to a real organizational challenge: strategic AI fluency expands what they can see and test; decision discipline turns that expanded thinking into an evidence-backed choice and executable plan. They leave with a stronger decision and a method that will outlast today's tools.
What you will learn:
- See the strategic shift. Recognize the progression from basic prompting to strategic amplification, understand AI's jagged capability frontier, and identify where AI can strengthen - or weaken - an important decision.
- Work effectively with AI. Use CORE, better inputs, question-first prompting, iterative critique, and appropriate Centaur or Cyborg workflows while protecting against cognitive offloading and false confidence.
- Frame the right problem. Turn an ambiguous challenge into a decision-ready problem statement using 5Ws and 2Hs, TOSCA, root-cause analysis, hypothesis thinking, explicit constraints, and success criteria.
- Build trusted insight. Use AI as a Researcher and Interpreter while separating facts, interpretations, assumptions, and unknowns and preserving source provenance.
- Expand the option set. Use the Thought Partner role, perspective shifts, constraints, analogies, and reversals to generate genuinely different alternatives before converging.
- Evaluate and stress-test. Define and weight decision criteria, compare options transparently, and use the Simulator role, red teams, pre-mortems, scenarios, and second-order effects to challenge the preferred choice.
-
Decide and move to action. Own the recommendation, explain why not the other options, tailor the narrative with the Communicator role, and build a governed 90-day implementation roadmap.
This is not a software tour or an abstract decision-theory seminar. You will bring a current strategic challenge or consequential decision and improve it throughout the program. Each module adds a component to your Strategic Decision Playbook.
- A decision charter with a clear problem statement, stakes, constraints, owners, and human-AI responsibilities
- An evidence map that distinguishes facts, interpretations, assumptions, inferences, and unknowns
- A broader alternatives portfolio with explicit, weighted decision criteria
- A transparent comparison plus a red-team, pre-mortem, and scenario-based stress test
- An executive recommendation that explains both the choice and why the other options were rejected
- A stakeholder narrative and measurable 90-day roadmap with owners, governance, and review triggers
