Agentic AI Strategies and Applications Certificate

Fully virtual/online certificate program: Four weeks with one weekly 90-minute live session on Zoom (recorded if you cannot attend live)

Meets weekly on Tuesdays from Noon to 1:30pm ET online, instructor led sessions plus an additional 90 minutes of pre-recorded on-demand content each week.  Expect a total commitment of ~3 hours per week (12 hours total).

Agentic AI Strategies and Applications is designed to equip you with practical skills to immediately improve productivity using AI. This program focuses on autonomous AI agents—systems that can take goals, break them into steps, use tools, and get work executed with minimal human intervention.  As organizations increasingly seek “AI that gets things done,” you will gain hands-on experience building and deploying agentic AI solutions that deliver real business impact.  The program begins with essential foundations in modern AI and foundation models (including large language models that power agentic workflows), presented in an accessible way for non-technical professionals. From there, you will learn to map workflows, select the right tools, and translate complex problems into structured agentic solutions.

Through real-world business cases, simulations, and hands-on low/no-code exercises, you will build the ability to identify opportunities, develop agentic workflows, and evaluate outcomes based on business impact.

Program Format: Approximately 12 hours total, delivered over 4 weeks (one module per week). Each week includes ~1.5 hours of pre-recorded content, one auto-graded quiz, and one 90-minute live online session.

Week 1 — Foundations: What AI is and how it evolved; non-technical introduction to large language models; chatbot vs. agent; identifying AI use cases in your organization

Week 2 — Autonomous Agents: How autonomous agents work; delegating tasks with context, instructions, and guardrails; evaluating agent output and knowing when to override; live demo building an autonomous agent

Week 3 — Building Agentic Systems: How agents use tools and connect to external systems; knowledge grounding and giving agents access to your data; memory and multi-step workflows; live demo of an end-to-end agentic workflow

Week 4 — Enterprise Reality: Deploying agentic AI in organizations; governance, security, and privacy considerations; measuring ROI and business impact; wrap-up discussion

Delivery: Fully online. Pre-recorded content available on demand; live sessions held via Zoom at scheduled times.

Certificate and Digital Badge: Awarded upon completing all pre-recorded modules, passing all weekly quizzes, and participation in the live sessions (and/or completing make-up assignment after watching the recording to replace live participation).

No graded projects or assignments.
