Leading with AI: Managing People

Course Dates: July 2-July 23 with one-day live session in Indianapolis on 7/9, and a live online Zoom session on 7/16 from 9-11:30am. 

Hybrid, instructor-led format

Pre-course work required: GenAI 101 async videos and light course-work that will provided with purchase of this course.

• Week 1 (starting on 7/2/26): asynchronous material, at your own pace
• Week 2 (scheduled on 7/9/26): one-day, live, in-person at 16 Tech in Indianapolis, from 9am-4pm
• Week 3 (scheduled on 7/16/26): 2.5 hours of live, online, instructor-led session from 9-11:30am
• Week 4 (course scheduled to be completed by 4/16/26): action learning project

What this course does

• Sets the foundation: role clarity, goals, and simple rhythms for check-ins
• Tracks performance the right way: define meaningful metrics, spot patterns early, and separate signal from noise
• Builds feedback and coaching skill: timely, specific conversations—supportive and accountable
• Handles the hard moments: underperformance, conflict, and reset plans that actually stick
• Uses AI as an assist: draft goals and feedback notes, prep 1:1 agendas, summarize trends for calibrations—safely and responsibly
